cat in the house
there's a stray cat that wandered into the 2nd level of my house. 0.0
i was at the computer, then i saw this flash of grey and white disappearing into the master bedroom. i turned, and saw a small 'adolscent' kitten staring at me. i think it didn't venture further into the master bedroom because it was pitch-black inside.
anyway, the kitten starting walking towards the computer & me. i noticed it didn't have claws. it wandered around the computer area and explored its new surroundings. later, it started walking towards the staircase and so, i followed it, in case my maid gets shocked and whack the poor kitten. it got to the staircase and was peering through the bars, at my maid who was mopping the 1st floor. the kitten was positioned between 2 life-sized bowling pins that are movable...
i called my maid up and she was like, "WHAT? ok lah ok lah. coming coming!" so she walked up the stairs and saw the kitten. she stopped. and the kitten stared at her and she stared back.
maid: Nor, why got cat here?
me: it came through the balcony door
maid: huh? -confused look- papa don't like cats you know
me: i know
maid: so how?
me: i don't know
-silence ensued-
[perfect example of chain reaction displayed by kitten in the following paragraph]
then, somehow, the kitten got frightened and it took a step sideways, knocking over one pin. then, it jumped back and knocked over the other pin. by now, it was obviously scared. so it bolted through the balcony door and i bet it squeezed through the railings and went back the way it came.
maid: HAHAHAHHAHAA!!!!
me: -silent; no comment-
maid: where did it go?
me: through the balcony door
we walked to the balcony door and tried to see if the kitten was still on the balcony. obvious;y, it wasn't. :( it probably jumped from the balcony, onto the statuette below the balcony, and then over the boundary wall. :(
i left the balcony door open. hey, maybe it'll come back someday? unexpected visitor. -______-
